Cartster - Lumber Carts

The Cartster lumber carts are an inexpensive way to handle lumber off of the Retro C Component Saw. They are setup to auto-stack the lumber that falls into them. The Cartster contains latches that hold two carts together as well as brakes to hold them in place when they reach their destination. This provides the Retro C with the ability to Automatically organize the lumber for the truss plant. This optimizes work-flow by eliminating the need for someone organizing for the truss line. Enventek strives to provide the little things that generate the most efficient work environment for your employees. Visit http://www.enventek.com/product/cartster/ for more information.

Retro C - High speed Component Saw

Enventek released the Retro C high speed component saw in 2009. The Retro C is made for speed and accuracy. One of the new features of the Retro C is the ability to automatically load lumber into it. There is no other component saw in the industry that has that feature. Retro C can easily cut 80 pieces per minute with a operator with ease. Unlike other Component saws we market what is possible for a human to do not what the machine is capable of. The Retro C has been known to operate over 150 pieces per minute with certain operators.

SafeGrip

Enventek recognizes safety in a new product called SafeGrip. This innovative product provides a safer environment for operators of radial arm saws. SafeGrip truly is the future in radial arm saw safety!

One of the most important aspects of a workplace is safety. It seems that everyone in the components industry has a story about a co-worker, friend or even themselves who have had a close encounter with a radial arm saw. Radial arm saws are useful tools that can do a large amount of work but can provide huge safety issues. Some countries have banned the use of these saws because of the injury potential. Consumer Products Safety Commission did a study on injuries from stationary power saws for the year of 2001. Out of 52,000 injuries 2,300 injuries (4%) involved radial arm saws. Eighty-Three percent of injuries from stationary power saws for 2001 were to fingers. Despite the safety issues these saws are still many locations today. Enventek LLC has developed SafeGrip a safety clamp for radial arm saws. SafeGrip firmly holds lumber in place while it is being cut so that the operator is at a safer distance from the blade. Most injuries from radial arm saws are due to the operator’s hand that is holding the lumber getting pulled into the blade and pulling the operators hand with it. If the operator isn’t required to have their hand holding the lumber then these injuries would not occur.

Enventek LLC’s goal is to provide user friendly, inexpensive and safe automation to the component industry. We believe that SafeGrip is a good start to provide safety to an already existing product. SafeGrip is fully automatic and requires no extra work for the operator to use. It engages when the operator pulls the blade toward the fence and returns when the blade is safely finished cutting the lumber. SafeGrip eliminates mistakes that can result in loss of a finger or worse. The safety clamp provides an added feature of cutting boards that are not normally possible on a radial arm saw. It can cut a board as small as three inches in half while holding both sides of the lumber safely. It will not allow lumber to get pulled into the saw even if there is no fence behind it. Currently Enventek has designed models for the SpeedCut, MetraCut and Apollo Saws and hopes to develop for other models in the near future. Our hope is that SafeGrip will save a few fingers and provide a safer working environment for your employees.
